Allow Thumbnail View To All Groups

ALLOW THUMBNAIL VIEW TO ALL GROUPS Installation Script 1.3

This hack will enable you to provide thumbnail preview to all groups. It does not change download permissions. For example, you can allow your visitors to "window-shop".

This hack is great if you want to convert "registered members" into "Premium Members".

It will also add a short message to users who do not have download permissions.

You will need to modify:

• attachment.php
• includes/function_showthread.php

And, add 1 new phrase under Show Thread.

Hi everyone,

I installed this mod...went over the directions and applied them twice (redoing it I should say)

But not logged in visitors see this on the attachments. Where did I mess up?:

found the problem ... it looks like we forgot to close the <phrase>

copy and paste into postbit_attachment:

FYI - I still have not added the CSS "info" and its working fine.
I am not sure, how and where you meant to add same ?

the class "info" is optional--it's meant to give some style to the message (look at the images provided)

If you want to add style -- just add the code into your CSS (within Admincp/Styles & Templates/Style Manager/ (dropdown click MAIN CSS) --scroll to the bottom and insert the code within the ADDITIONAL CSS DEFINITIONS
