Will do - and not just because it's a grande system, but also cos I don't do "beta hacks" - I make sure my hacks work 100% fine in all aspects, before even bothering with a release (even just a private beta release).

I like vB3's quality, and cos of that I only want to make hacks that have the same quality as vB3 itself... takes time though (just like vB3 itself has taken way too much time for our tastes)

I already coded this to work for vb3, it just needs somone to fix the templates to work for vb3

if you would like a copy of this, and want to do some template recreation for vb3 just pop me a message on aim (zajako2) i cant release it though cause i would have to get permission first. I dont care for rights to the system i just want to use it, if you know what i mean >.>

Thanks, but that won't be necessary. I've made my Journal system from scratch and it'll take more time if I have to merge it with some other system, than to finish it 'from scratch' on my own.

Oh dont get me wrong, i didnt ask you to stop working on it, or to help me, i just need something temporary till yours gets done, to make my members happy. Like i said its already done and is exactly like the old one, just needs the templates redone to use vbulletin 3 variables.
Seriously i look forward to yours much more than i do having the old one recreted, im not asking for you to merdge or anything, i just have some members that loved recording their journals and i dont want them to goto some other site with a journal cause my journal system is down >.>

You can use the Journal for vB2 (perhaps on a temporary vB2 site) you know. My journal will come with Importers for the vB2 journal.

When do you expect journal to be available (< 1 week / 1-2 weeks / 3-4 weeks / more)?

I'll probably update to VB3 and keep the VB2 site journal running meanwhile as you suggest, but this will be a pain if new members want to start journals of their own.

That's true, but there is no real alternative that lets you keep journals right now..

I dunno when I'll have the Journal System for vB3 done but I'm hoping to get it done in March (it's a lot of work, still)...
