Quick Edit Templates · **Released**: 03-12-2003

This hack adds a form right in the admin CP nav frame that allows you to type in a template name directly to edit it. See the screenshot for an example. Theoretically you can also add templates directly from the same form.

This should work on even ancient versions of vB2 but was developed only with 2.3.0 RC3.

The dropdown in the screenshot lists all the style sets so you edit the correct one.

Just change this line

Code:

makenavoption("Quick Edit Template:", "#", $output);

to what you want. The second Option is the link. I changed it to

Code:

makenavoption("Quick Edit Template:", "template.php?action=modify", $output);

so it directs you to the normal Template-Edit-Page.
