You didn't have any files on an external server at all? That is a sad thing to happen.

Teck, next time I think it would be wise to have a board on your site and comp... just password protect it

i'm backing up everything from now on, every day, related to coding, etc.
i dont want to go through that crap again.
i started working again on the vb228 code. finisted the global and sessions.php files and lowered the the forumhome index.php file to 14queries, including the poll, the news roller, latest threads, etc... all the goodies i had before...

i'm not really pissed at the code loast.. this is not that bad... is more of the graphs.. i worked alot on them and they are gone all.

Damn... I dont know. We could try and update VB2.2.8 to the version you somewhat had. Or I guess wait for VB3.. But VB2 might be nice to stick with?

Anyway, if I were you I'd wait for vB3, in the meantime improve your coding or graphic skills, maybe work on some outside applications involving PHP/MySQL, or other projects.
