Advanced New Thread Button in Showthread · **Released**: 05-25-2012

Description:
This hack adds a 'Post New Thread' button to the showthread script. Simply put, when a user is viewing a thread they are given the option to quickly jump to the New Post Editor and begin creating a new post. As well as this, it allows Administrators to control who has access to the feature and can be disabled for certain user-groups and individual users.

Installation Instructions:
To install simply import the attached adv_new_thread_button.xml file. Then you're done.

- Added the ability to exclude individual forums.

Notes:
There is another version of this modification released by testbot however his version does not include the permissions like mine does. His thread can be viewed here.

I'd also be interested in the general button on all pages, that when you click, gives you some form of drop-down to select a category.
