Replace the ugly Memberlist with a nice looking one and add more features like:
Member Ratings
Top Members
Featured Members
Improved Profile view
2.- Installation
Upload all files and directories including at "vbulletin" directory to the directory where vBulletin is installed.
Check at your AdminCP->vBulletin Options->Plugin/Hook System that Plugin system is enabled.
From your AdminCP->Plugin System->Manage Products choose Add/Import Product and import the product: product_memberindex.xml
Set the various options at: Member Index Options. If you can't see the menu on the left, press F5. Don't forget to choose which usergroups to show.
If you want to replace your current member list, you must edit the navbar template to point to memberindex.php instead of memberlist.php Otherwise you can add a seperate menu.

I am planning on upgrading an installation of an older version of this script on a vbulletin 3.8 forums and I am wondering if there are any upgrade instructions or if I should follow the installation instructions as if this mod isn't already installed?
Same instruction, just don't forget to check "Overwrite" when importing xml file.
Done although I notice that our version number still sits at 1.0 (and the download here's xml code if opened also lists the product/module as version 1.0). Where is the 1.2 version listed in this thread?
Thanks for this great hack. I have a few issues (not bugs). I don't know how to resolve this.
1- These are my usergroups with the number of actual members in each usergroup in brackets:
Administrator (1)
Sponsors Category 1 (12)
Sponsors Category 2 (5)
Members (1673)
Banned Members (150)
Members not registered yet (12)
Other members (163)
Moderators (5)
Other sponsors (3)
Those are the groups we see but my problem is that I don?t want to see all these groups listed that way. Of course, there is an option in the hack where we can selects the usergroups we want to display but I would like this to be achieved in another way. Let me explain that to you:
What I would like to be listed is only:
Administrator (1)
Sponsors (17)
Members (1998)
Moderators (5)
Other Sponsors (3)
So this would be like combining these usergroups together:
Sponsors Category 1 (Usergroup ID = 9) + Sponsors Category 2 (Usergroup ID = 11)
Members (Usergroup ID = 2) + Banned Members (Usergroup ID = 8) + Members not registered yet (Usergroup ID = 1) + Other Members (Usergroup ID = 13)
How to achieve this?
2- Then, my second problem is the fact that all these usergroups listed in point #1 are clickable, so the resulting pages should also reflect the selection of these combined usergroups when clicking on them.
The standard version on 4.0 looks like crap .. as usual.
What if I say that it's ready 10+ days now? But there is a bug, and I don't like to release rubishes. Logon users can see, search and rate ok, but not logon users, still works but pushes the data on the right of the screen. So, I'm trying to find out what causes this bug.
As for donations Let me laught. Since Oct 2006, I've released around 20 mods, most of them fully working modules (and not just simple plugins), and I've got just 1 (One) donation

I just installed this but I dont see anywhere how to rate a member and how to search for a member those options are not even showing up in my memberindex.php and yes they are enabled in the hacks settings.
Also I would like to be able to add more then just the admin group id for the meet the staff but rather include the usergroups of my other staff members such as moderators and super moderators
