What does it do?
What this mod does is allows your users to watermark images using a BB Code called [wm]. It creates the watermarks using the GD. It then saves these watermarked images to your server.

Installation Instructions
  1. Download the product and install it on your forum
  2. Create a directory called "wmcache" and set the permissions/CHMOD to 777 - THIS PART IS IMPORTANT
  3. Then you can start using it!

Syntax
Very simple syntax
[wm=Watermark text]URL to image[/wm]

What's to come
This product is still in the beta stages so I want to make sure it works well before adding new bits. However once all of the holes have been plugged I will add new features. Firstly I will add support for fonts and the ability to adjust the size and colour of the watermark background. I appreciate it's a bit ugly at the moment. This will all be customizable in the Admin CP. So make sure you click install to ensure you get the new features.

unsure if already released but anyway to make an image be watermarked by defaul e.g no need to put [wm= etc]

What do you mean? Theres nothing in vB which allows you to watermark images.

Didnt say within vB i said thats been released...
Just wondering if theres away to watermark images via img or attachment? without having to put the [wm=Watermark text]URL to image[/wm] there?

You want every image posted to be watermarked?

Well I made a mod like this before but it just didn't work very well. I think this is better.

No thats all you need to do with that folder. Thats where the new watermarked images are stored.

Once you have done that you can use the BB Code

this product i'm tested on vbulletin 3.8.3 today is working fine for .jpg

and tested on file .png and .gif is not very good but this is very good idea.
need more inovation for this product.

Ive tested it on a number of .png and .gif images and didn't notice anything wrong. Could you give me more details on what images to tested it on so I can try to improve
