Depending on which state you live in, the electoral vote is either based on your popular vote or your representative can over ride it.

VERY VERY well said, this is what I explained to my wife yesterday after voting for Obama and her voting Mccain.

Most the group I voted for won, and no.. color didn't have anything to do with it.

I wanted a change - and I got it.

I voted for Obama - and I got it.

I voted for a Republican senator (local) - and I got it.

I'm just glad the election process is over!
