Is Your Forum your entire website?

^I'd say that depends on what kind of site you're running and what's kind of content you need, since Joomla is a CMS, and Wordpress is meant for blogs.

Ok let's say, I just want to show news into the frontpage and send them to the forum?

Both of them are suitable for what you want to do, iogames. It all depends on what exactly you feel comfortable with. I personally, would most likely go with Wordpress, providing I could find a decent looking skin.

We use vB Advanced as a home page, but no one goes there since the main domain points to the forum home page.

URL's are set up as follows:

http://www.forumpostersunion.com/~fo...cmps_index.php

http://www.forumpostersunion.com/cmps_index.php

www.forumpostersunion.com goes to forum index.

Anyone have any suggestions on getting better use out of vBA or the way we have the URL's set up or why we have 2 URL's for CMPS in the first place ?
