Albums - Social Groups - VMs Add-Ons

vBulletin 3.7 Beta 6 Version or Above only.
Note: This should not be used of versions of 3.7 prior to Beta 6 due to new hooks.

Info: Adds Extra Global permissions for Creating Albums, Social Groups, Joining Social Groups and Posting Visitor Messages, Social Group Messages and Picture Comments.



vBulletin Options > User Profile: Album Options

1. Max number of albums (Limit the number of albums users may create.)
2. Minimum Posts to create Albums (Minimum post count in forum that a user must reach before they can have albums.)
3. Minimum Posts To Post Picture Comments (Minimum post count in forum that a user must reach before they can post picture comments.)

vBulletin Options > User Profile: Visitor Messaging Options

1. Minimum Posts to Post Visitor Message (Minimum post count in forum that a user must reach before they can leave visitor messages.)

vBulletin Options > Social Groups

1. Max Number Of Social Groups (Limit the number of social groups users may create.)
2. Minimum Posts to create Social Groups (Minimum post count in forum that a user must reach before they can create Social Groups.)
3. Minimum Posts to Join Social Groups (Minimum post count in forum that a user must reach before they can join Social Groups.) v1.0.1
4. Minimum Posts to Post Group Message (Minimum post count in forum that a user must reach before they can leave visitor social group messages.)

Last my wish is ; "How can we add "You need join group first for see messages in this group" message in visible group permission. ?

For "private" groups - I'm pretty sure that this will still show the "submit" button for the quick reply if the group has the ability to post in groups that they are not a member of

The hack has nothing to do with the qucik reply submit button!
I thought if you were not a member to an invite only group, you wont be able to see the quick reply box nor the button!
am I right?

Members can see "You need join group first for see messages in this group" warning in Private Groups which didnt join.

My point was more of the case that you haven't taken into account a situation where a user has access to post messages in groups that they are not a member of, but this mod is applied...

Looks like a great mod! Haven't installed it yet but wondered, will admins still be able to view the messages in invite only groups, even if they aren't members of the group? If not, I would like to suggest (beg for) that, and/or a feature that allows for a certain user to be automatically added to a social group when one gets created. I'd be interested in seeing an add-on that allows users to choose an option to recieve notice of any new posts on the group thread, or any new albums created or pictures uploaded to the group..

The "invite only" groups has the reply box hidden from those who are not members of the "invite only" groups by default.

Unless I'm missing something here, would someone confirm this please?

The privacy option in the hack has nothing to do with other group types but "invite only" groups.

Admins or Supermoderators with canmoderategroupmessages permission should be able to view the messages in an invite only groups.
