Seriously, I got tired of trying to figure out how to get the news I wanted on my site that provided the whole story and not just a description or a feed that was nothing more than a ?disguised ad? for another site, so I located a Google Map Reader, acquired permission to use the program and wrote a ?modification for vb.?

Testing:
I have tested this on 3.5.x and 3.6.x and it works fine on both. 3.5.x users follow this link:
What this program does:
This is a Google Map with interactive pins on each continent. Access is gained via the navbar.
Usage:
Select the location on the map that you?d like by dragging mouse, click on pin until you locate the exact country, region, local area you desire and the news will appear. Click on article and a new window will display story; members never leave your site.
Changelog
v1.0.1 working version
v1.0.2 two minor modifications to adjust width
Since the Reader and RSS Feeds is remotely hosted and they do the upgrades, I can?t think of any improvements necessary, but feel free to make suggestions and/or provide file(s), translate to another language, whatever!
I don't have the four pictures Everything else yes.
Where are the pictures?

A few step-by-step questions:
You are using vbulletin 3.6.5, yes?
Did you upload the vbgooglenews.php to your root directory?
Did you upload the four pictures to your image/misc directory?
Did you go to your AdminCP => Plugins & Products =>Manage Products => Add/Import Product => upload googlenews.xml=> Import?
Did you go to your AdminCP => Styles & Templates => Edit Templates => Navbar and install link?
If you did all that then there is no reason this program will not work
Awesome! I love it being a news junkie. Now I can easily catch up on news around the country. One question. Why does the navbar seem to be stretched out longer than the page when viewing the map? It's more of an asthetic issue as it doesn't affect much other than having a scroll bar at the bottom of the screen.

If you would please PM me a link to your site. I would like to look at what you are talking about.

Actually the same thing happens on the demo link for the mod. I can make the browser window as large as possible, 1650 X 1050, and I still have to scroll left and right. In other words, for some reason, the navbar is over 100%. Make any sense?
I also noticed in the breadcrumb/navigation that "Googlenews" is forced to a weird color sometimes instead of reading the proper colors of the style like other areas do...
