I want my community to be independent and not connected to other communities and I don't like the "look & feel" of zoints.

This is exactly how I feel. I don't want/need overkill. I just want something that is clean and somewhat simple, yet, has the ability to give members more options than the standard profiles. The main thing I have been looking for has been a simple image gallery for member profiles. But everything I've run across has either been crap or a whole lot more than I need to add.

So many people want this - I can't believe that no-one has come up with a mod for this... something to allow more than one photo in a user's profile.

true! I think the solution they have @ ortskontrollfahrt.de is simply perfect. We could start a please-release-your-hack-petition

Quote:
- using a URL Rewrite to have the profile show in a different directory like domain.com/ will show the data pulled from the database buy not photos, avatars and other bits because those are being called from domain.com/ (where they don't exist) instead of domain.com/forums (where they do exist). Maybe if you rewrote all of the templates? |
