Nexus 1.0
Hello everyone. Nexus is a new style for Vbulletin 3.5. It's been tested with version 3.5.4 but should be compatible with all future versions as well. It is a clean, easily accessable theme with smooth graphics and appealing fonts all different from the standard vBulletin theme. Nexus is fully compliant with XHTML 1.0 Transitional and proudly uses the Silk icon set. You may use and modify Nexus to your liking, with one exception: you may not remove the bottom copyright giving credit to myself and the creator of the Silk icon set. Demo: No current demo. This site will stop featuring this theme soon, so I would appreciate it if anyone would list their own forum running this. How to Install: Download the attached ZIP file. Upload the style in your AdminCP, and copy the "nexus" dir to your forum root. For example, if your forums are located at: http://www.myforums.com/forums/ Then the Nexus directory should be placed at: http://www.myforums.com/forums/nexus/ That's all there is to it! PSD Template There have been requests to provide the PSD file in order to translate the buttons to other languages. I used one template to create all buttons, but a little creative editing will go a long way. The PSD is included in the 'psd.zip' file. Version History: 1.0 - Initial release of Nexus! About Me: I am a graphic designer and coder. The Nexus theme is released for free. I can also be contacted for custom vBulletin design and coding, just use the private message button! I'm also a poor college student, so should you feel like donating because the theme has helped you in some way, just contact me using the private message function and I'll give you my PayPal. Oh, and don't forget to click the install button if you use this theme! Show Your Support

Ok here's a complete newbie question. I decided I wanted to increase the width of the style to 100% of the page instead of 800 pixels. Now the columns in the forum view are out of whack. Is there an easy way to go about corretcing this without changing the parent style?

Is there an upgrade for 3.6.3 planned for the future with this style? It's one of my favorites! I suffer compatability issues in 3.6.2 & will be maybe upgrading to 3.6.3 as recommended soon. It would be so apprecited to see this updated again! Please? It would make me soooo happy.

Love this style. Currently using it for 3.6.2.
I do have one question regarding the Fluid vs. Fixed procedure. I am currently in need of a Fluid solution for this skin. If anyone could help me achieve this, I would greatly appreciate it. I do have an example of exactly what I am looking for for the fluid width: http://www.schuelerforum.net/ He has the forum just the way I want it width wise. Thanks in advance! |
