Just noticed this thread, I had planned to start coding on local host, I would be curious the time frame so I know which option to go with.

Myself I could have it going in week about, so if you can do it sooner then best option is to let you.

Hey I have a little suggestion. How about merging both uCash & uShop and name it as uStore? Both hacks will be formed into ONE hack.

I too would be willing to donate monetarily to resolve this issue.

But I've noticed that the uCash/uShop issue is spread out over a couple of different threads...for organizational sake maybe an official "Save uShop 3.5.X" thread should be designated?

This is a good idea I think.

Also, if no experience programmer wants to take on the project, I say let's make it a PAID HACK. Money is the greatest motivator for quality work.

I'm sure 10-20 initial buyers/donators would create enough funds for someone to continue developement. Once the bugfree version is out, the script will be for sale, and the initial "investors" will not have to re-purchase.

I will take it on , but I refuse to make it paid. There is enough paid scripts out that honestly I do not think should be.

I plan to first make a shop that works with the current point system, then I will think about doing more.

Actually I think you should make a points system that actually works, UCASH has many holes and bugs in it like the ability to refresh threads and get points and many more that were pointed out. Any problems left in the points system would ruin a good shop. I would like to have a Stable points system with % points based on characters added into it..

This would be a faster mod to get up and running as there are a ton of SHop features users would want.

Just my two cents, Thanks for taking on this project and I suggest you start a thread in the 3.5 Modifications or PLugins for this..

Actually there is no other area in 3.5 for discussing the 'work' going on in a project so this thread will have to do until such a time as I can give a beta.
