This hack is now being released as a "Lite" version. All existing features are still there, do not worry. However, a premium version is comming soon and will have even more features. **Before Making An Add on **
Please consult with me before making an add on to this hack. As it is my work and such, the add ons that you are trying to make for it may be in the next release and/or premium version.

* There was a problem with a code that made it so that if you didn't have an image in an ad and then edited that ad to include an image, it overwrote noimage.gif (which is not good!). This was fixed!
* Ad ID Number now shows in an ad
* Price now shows in an ad

What does this do?
This hack gives you a classified ad system. Multiple categories can be created and users can post ads in these categories. Other users can then rate them and give them feedback accordingly.

What features does this hack provide?

• Main page with statistics, categories, recent activity, etc.
• Ability to arrange ads in categories
• Categories can have their own images
• See how many total, closed, and open ads are in each category.
• Ratings and category counts are automatically rebuilt
• After the timeframe of the ad is up, the ad is closed
• Add new classified ads with images, description, title, and more!
• Users have their own page where feedback and such shows.
• Paypal button is automatically generated if the user enters a paypal email address. Clicking this button will allow the user to buy whatever the other user is selling.
• Add extra fields to ads
• Ability to edit and delete ads
• Control everything from the amount of results showing per page in searches, to the size of thumbnails.
• GIF, JPG, and PNG images are supported.
• Search through ads
• And much much more!

What does this hack require?

Step 1. Import the following product: product-sr_classifieds.xml
Step 2. Upload the files in the upload folder.
Step 3. CHMOD the sr_classifieds/uploaded folder and sr_classifieds/uploaded/thumbnails folder to 777
Step 4. Do the edits located below
Step 5. Update newly added usergroup permissions and options
Step 6. Enjoy the hack.

I think we need more people to verify as I get negative times even when logged out of my site.. It shows three active ads but there are five shown and two have negative time...

Now, I have hacked my code to all heck learning how this works... I got your PM and I'll buy the premium with the upgrade as soon as you are ready to release... I have asked my members what else we would want so that I can help you improve this OR I can evaluate what I need to do on my end to customize it...

Nope--doesn't work. Still get the same error. Any other ideas? Remember, this error occurs when you are trying to save permissions of usergroups in the admincp.

Yeah, since these can allow for multiple choices if the multiple="multiple" option is used in the html, I may have a shot at adding it myself

I also think we will want some method to delete the old ads and attachments, say after the ad is expired by X-days & defined in Admin CP... I would want to set them seperately in case I wanted an archive of old classified listings however....

I use Photopost pro and I have debated changing the images so that members leave the image in their member directory so it counts towards their total image limit... that way they can take care of the space issue themselves...

Ah yes, i remember your erorr now. Like i said before, i would need ftp information or something in order to look into it due to the fact that your vb is outdated and i may just need to see if perhaps it's just that they use a different code when saving permissions and such. Also, if i remember correctly, i tried disabling the hack on your site and still got that error.

I see. What i'm saying though is that multiple choices are available when using the checkbox feature. Have you tried that?
