Webpage and Guestbook for vBulletin 3.0.x

This script installs a Webpage and a Guestbook on your users profile page.

Upcoming fixes:
* Adding leads to user's guestbooks via post icons.

LATEST VERSION NEW FEATURES v1.0.4 - November 14th, 2005 (Re-released)
* Now comes with an easy to use installer that does all the database entries.
* Also includes an uninstaller (works even though you don't have version 1.0.4 installed)
* Includes upgrade from v1.03 to v1.04 (previous versions are left unsupported)

I want this to be a feature for our 'platinum' (paying members) So if I were to install this hack for the Platinum usergroup, and a platinum member creates a page. When the users membership expires and if he doesn't re-subscribe to our forum. Does the webpage and guestbook get turned off and becomes un-accessible? Does the pages get deleted, or just turned off?

This does sound like a really cool hack, once every one gets the bugs worked out I'll install it myself.

Fix for 'istyles'

Download the two files attached to this post. Update profile.php with new code in file_profilephp.txt. Then replace template content in modify_webpage with template_modify_webpage.txt

Done.

Hey Swedie...thanks for the update...this fixes the 'istyles' thingie, but the more link on the smilie box still isn't working...it gives this error: smiliewindow_x not definded...

and the 'modify webpage' layout is broken now, I'm using 760px...(see attached screenshot)

OK, the URL's seem to be working now.

That looks pretty cool, so does anyone know about my question on the usergroups? If I set it too only be an option for the paying members. If they let thier membership expire,and they get bumped down to a regular member. Does the webpage, and guestbook get turned off automatically?

If the usergroup they are turned down to, is not allowed to have a guestbook or webpage, then then their guestbook and webpage will dissappear.

Sorry, the WYSIWYG editor does that. I can't help ... maybe I should have a enable disable button for the WYSIWYG editor.

Hey Swedie, by removing a table I managed to get it displayed, without really breaking the layout...

Have you looked after the 'more link' on the smilie box?? Would it otherwise be possible to just remove the more link and only show the default smilies??

By the way, I've just noticed that there are quite some templates not being cached...

I think you can modify it for your problem---
AdminCP > Profile Fields > Add new proofile field > Single Select Menu >
Title > Homempage (or any other one)
Description > Please select
Options:
Undisclosed
yes
no
Default Option: No, but not blank

make note of the field id

Template edit:
in postbit(_legacy)
find

add under

<if condition="$post[fieldX] != Undisclosed"><div>Homepage: $post[fieldX] <img src="$stylevar[imgdir_misc]/homepage_$post[fieldX].gif" alt="$post[fieldX]" /> </div></if>

x is the ID of your homepage profile fields


For the images to work you would need to upload

images/misc/homepage_yes.gif and homepage_no.gif

I got that "more" link working a while ago, but I must've not included it in the update. I'll check into it.

Thanks! I may do it this way. I was hoping for something to automatically recognize webpage content added and display the icon, rather than the user having to select a profile field saying they've filled it out, but this should do. Thanks again

If anyone knows how to have it automatically recognize when a user's webpage has content, I'm sure more than a few people would appreciate it.
