You can modify this by editing the two plugins.

I even took the time to make you guys a noavatar.gif file

Yeah 3.7.4 only the postbit is supported, but I guess that's not too much of a problem. It would be nice if you could update this plugin!

Is there a mod like this that works for v3.8.x?

Like other people are saying, it works on the postbit, but it does not work on the members list or the profile page. How to make it work?!?!?
