Hello all!

Moderation Auto-PM v4.0.6

What does this hack do?
When a thread is opened/closed, stuck/unstuck, moved, or a post is deleted, a PM will be automatically sent to the poster to inform them of this.

Instructions

1. Upload all *.php files to your vBulletin includes directory
2. Import the product XML (set allow overwrite to yes if you are upgrading from a previous version)
3. Please remember to click Mark as Installed if you use this modification.
4. Show Your Support by Donating
5. Done

Features

• The text of the pm is no longer hardcoded but uses phrases
• Ability to "respect" a recycle bin forum (lots of bigger boards still seem to use this)
• Moderation Auto-PM will not show the user where their thread/post is being moved to/from if they do not have permission to view the forum (example if you move a thread to a staff only forum the original poster would be denied access)
• Ability to exclude certain forums (no notification send at all)
• Never send a pm to yourself also solved

All translations are in the "do_not_upload" directory. If you have created your own language pack, or have an update of an existing one, you can send .xml file to me so that I can bundle it into Moderation Auto-PM v4.0.6.

Does notiffication works even topic/post is approved from AdminCP? can i choose to send notiffication only topic approve, not post approve? thx

How i can veriffy PM was really sent in vbulletin?

PS: sending PM is a shit which fills database and bother me as a user, i want rather send an email.

One way is to install one of the mods on here which allow you to read your users' PMs. Otherwise create test users and work with those.

Hello! On 4.2.2 PL1, seems like tnen I physically delete posts, PM`s don`t work. Somebody can proove or discare this?

I was testing out the mod, and it works well too. I actually require an intimation to be sent to the original poster of the post that your post has been merged and here is a link to your new post, located in the following thread...

I know the developer might have his hands full, so I am trying to mod it a bit further for my use with added functionality. Hope that is alright of course.

Now, I am not sure as to which hookname to use after a posts are merged?

here are the hooks that i have been able to find, but don't know which one... first things first, right?

1. inlinemod_domergeposts_process
2. inlinemod_domergeposts_complete
3. inlinemod_mergeposts_post
4. inlinemod_mergeposts_complete

I have problem with this hack. It send tens of PM instead of one... maybe it is a problem only with my server but it wasn't like that before 4.2.3.

Can anyone confirm that this mod works fine on v4.2.3?
