Installed 2.0 for testing on 4.13 development board ....
This mod gets better and more user definable with each release ... thanks for your efforts .. We aren't using it as a spam filter, as much as an opportunity to perhaps gain incremental revenue early in the sign up process, to help off-set the costs of operating our not-for-profit site. For that purpose alone, this mod has some excellent potential which when we go live, we'll share our "before" and "after" experiences here in using it. Regards, Doug ps: BTW, we voted and nominated it, as well as rated it at the top .... pss: great idea to add the user option to position the FREE sign-up option to the top. We were going to ask for that as well. |

This seems to test fine, so we're getting ready to move this from development forum to our 4.1.3 "live" forums ...
Anyone have any feedback on 2.0 with lots of real world live users registering? Regards, Doug |

I don't get one thing - why does the registration template page go back to default VB style (the out of the box one) with this mod enabled?
How do I get this plugin to NOT overwrite my customized style ("header" template, additional.css, etc) with the default one? This is really annoying... |

I'm getting emails entitled "Mail Delivery System - Mail Failure - Malformed Recipient Address" like the one below after someone hits the Paid Option button at registration (the free registration option is working perfectly):
A message that you sent contained one or more recipient addresses that were incorrectly constructed: DO NOT EDIT THIS USER: missing or malformed local part (expected word or "<") This address has been ignored. There were no other addresses in your message, and so no attempt at delivery was possible. ------ This is a copy of your message, including all the headers. ------ To: DO NOT EDIT THIS USER Subject: Action Required to Activate Membership for xxxxxx Forum From: "xxxxxx Forum" <webmaster@xxxxxx.com> Auto-Submitted: auto-generated Return-Path: webmaster@xxxxxx.com Message-ID: <20110621230434.0274644a24fd@www.xxxxxx.com> MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="ISO-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit X-Priority: 3 X-Mailer: vBulletin Mail via PHP Date: Wed, 22 Jun 2011 00:04:34 +0100 Dear Pending Subscription 3, Thank you for registering at the xxxxxx Forum. Since we've not been able to test our development board with someone actually using the PayPal setup to completion, we can't try and duplicate this... Thanks .. Regards, Doug |

The issue stained has encountered is a bug in the product, but it is harmless. vB is trying to send the ghost user an activation email but the ghost user does not have a real email address, so you end up with this. It does not change functionality in any way, that is why I said it is harmless. That said, the issue is being fixed in the next version which is being released later on today.
