Detailed vBulletin skin installation instructions with images

Version 4.x of this template for vB4 uses no tables instead i decided to use CSS3 border-image, unfortunately Internet Explorer does not support border-image so the left and right border will not appear in IE, i added the top and bottom borders in IE with <!--[if IE]>

If you change the size of the logo (vbulletin4_logo.png) you will need to edit the header template and change the width to keep the logo centered perfectly:

In version 4.2.5 the border code was replaced to work with newer CSS3, with the older code the borders would not show in many browsers.

yeah, also looking forward to the upgrade, just did a test of taking my site from 4.2 to 4.08 using XXamp and it looks like there are a few issues to be worked out still

I've got it working now for the most part with .8, the rid of the white on the forum page, will tackle the home page tomorrow and with any luck, I could have it done.

Damn shame though with these updates VB is doing, the coders and designers can't keep up with all the changes . www.masterofwar.net trying to get ready for the Black Ops Release, now at the mercy of the coders....:erm:

Thanks, it looks great in Firefox but I need to figure out the IE issues. I know I read something but been busy getting everything looking right. I'm sure as soon as I finish get it right for my site, somebody that actually knows what they are doing will get Darkness up to date. For me, it's a whole lot of trial and error on my test site.

I can for sure Iyama but I don't have everything figured out as of yet. My Bookie pages still needs lots of work. And I did so much trial and error, I'm not sure exactly what all I've changed but I will post what I can.
