Okay thank you for reporting this. I had first seen this on your forum and thought maybe you configured it like this on purpose. This could be happening because you may have thread previews disabled.
In news.php find: PHP Code: PHP Code:
PHP Code: PHP Code:
Please let me know if this fixes the problem. If it does, I can upload a new version with a few optimizations. |

This seemed to have happened before. I am using the highslide hack here https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=139167
When viewing the actual blog post on my site, it does not show the attachments at all, unless I'm viewing the blog main page, which it shows the attachments plus the highslide correctly. How do I fix this in the news mod? |

Hm... I tried installing highslide to test this. I am not seeing the bug you have described. First, make sure you are using the most recent version of that hack. The newest one requires no file or template edits, so you should undo any you may have done for the old version.
If this does not help, perhaps this is a result of one of the few small fixes on my site. I will have to package my current version early this week anyway since I have long delayed releasing it. |

All my hacks are always up to date actually. Yours also and the highslide one as well.

This is happening again. Getting the purple background behind the comments area.
Also, replies made are not showing up as comments, which still shows "0" even though replies were made to the blog post. Am I missing something? the news_comments template is default, showsnews is also default |

Hm... I checked your site and the only thing that appears to be out of order in my browser is the purple background.
In the news_comments template add class="page" to the first div. This should fix the problem. I will include this in the next release (even though I thought it was there already for a very long time ???). |

Now it shows another purple bar below the comments box.
http://www.talkjesus.com/shownewsces.php?t=15408 I also did as you said Code:
<div class="page" style="width:$stylevar[outerdivwidth]; text-align:$stylevar[left]"> <div style="padding:0px $stylevar[spacersize]px 0px $stylevar[spacersize]px"> |

Aha, progress. Trust me, the purple box has gotten smaller. Somewhere in your templates there is an extra <br> tag. Check your news_comments template again. If there is a <br> tag at the end, remove it.
As for highslide breaking, the only explanation I can give is that your current version shownews.php is based on showthread.php from vBulletin 3.6.7. When I release the one updated for 3.6.8 this week, it should hopefully solve that issue. |

Version 1.5.0 has finally been released. This version includes the changes that were made to showthread and forumdisplay since 3.6.7, including template hooks and the like. This should fix a number of issues users have been having since then, and several bugs that occurred in some configurations have been fixed.
