Um, I'm sorry, I don't see how it's based on http://starwarsgalaxies.station.sony.com/ at all. It looks nothing like it in my opinon.

What they have at the sony site is very clean and the colours go together well. What you have on your site clashes, in my opinion and the graphics look crude and unpolished. You should consider using a bit of anti-aliasing on the edges of your buttons and clean up things. Also, the header doesn't look good with that chunky look. I would try to create something that looks EXACTLY like the sony thing and then change it to make it your own.

Sorry I was referring to the Planetside Style trying to match the Sony site somewhat. I know the SWG style does not match. If you scroll up you will see "Theme based on "millenniumFalcon". It was a php style that I ported to Vb. I wasn't trying to copy the SWG site. I just wanted to do something different.

Well like you said, in your opinion... I did what I wanted to do and I am sticking to my guns. I didn't want to copy the Sony site, I just wanted pay homage to SWG by doing my own thing. I appreciate your opinion but if you don't like it, don't install it. Simple.

On another note, I did not create the original buttons. They came from the original designer of the phpbb skin. The only buttons I created was the q-reply and the logo. If you follow the link to the original style you will see how I tried to match THAT skin although I used the buttons in different places.

I was upgrading to 3.5RC2 so I had some issues but all seems to work now.

I think it's a fine job for a first style! Those who don't try and create styles have no idea how much work it is, and to offer it for free then get criticized for it is lame. Keep up the good work dude!

Thanks for the comment, I really do appreciate it. It did take me about 3 days to get it where I wanted it. I probably spent over 36 man-hours, not all at once hehe, trying to convert the original theme over to vB. I am aware though when you release something to such a huge community some people will like it while others will not.

I have pretty thick skin so I don't take it personally. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and I appreciate all comments positive and negative. Negative comments just make me want to work even harder on my next style.

Ok so I decided to change things around a bit since everyone didn't like the colors etc. So this week a new skin will be available with all new stuff inside. Take a look at the screenies and if you like it be sure and tell me. If you don't tell me anyway so I can try something different.

BTW this is not FINSIHED yet so the buttons and some of the basic colors may be changed. This is just what I have done so far. The ALT colors and header and footer will stay although the NAVBAR is sure to get an upgrade.
