Should I gather a list of feature suggestions and stuff, or would it be better to just let you build as you go?

A list of feature suggestions would help me start somewhere - If there is stuff not on the list that I think up on the way I'll chuck em in

i dont mind paying a small amt if it's good. some suggestions:

top 10 most comments
top 10 rated
editors pick
authors page - listing of stories/poems etc written by author
categories and subcats - stories (horror, fantasy), poems (romance, spiritual)
let users specify categories and subcats when submitting
required synopsis field (pretty much like thread descriptions)
featured story of the week/month

that'd be cool brinnie. to add on an extra suggestion... i particularly liked the way literotica had for their submission members's profiles... something like this:

Thats one of the things I love about their script.
It would also be nice if their story profiles had a link back to their forum profiles... But I think that's probably a given.

i reckon it'd be good to merge them together into just that one. this way, the members wont complain about filling it out twice or something.

yea... I think the tabs should toggle from the profile info to the story info. What do you think?
