i'm interested just to see the trends maybe it has 140 dl's but only 3 people install (i know people could have dl'ed more than once) but its a nice ratio to keep in mind

Yea its also a nice thing becuase it gives you an idea of the interest in it plus shows signs of how much activity the hack is getting.

There's no harm in showing it.

Not sure why it was removed by Stefan but I'm sure it's because it doesn't really give any real info except for a general trend.

actually, i just don't display it, because it would have made the hackinfo template a bit too cluttered.

i see of course, that it is an interesting fact as well.

on the other hand, it wasn't implemented that good for our usage.
everytime you have deleted a file to upload a newer version, the counter was reset.

Which personally I would find quite useful, as it shows how many downloads there have been after a file has been updated.
