Sorry to bother you guys again, but I am curious if the new header is any better. Could someone who saw it before please let me know if I am at least going in the right direction?

I like the way you've done it. However, the forum is for a band? why don't you feature the band in the header? I like the gradient cloud thing on the right though. Intriguing

And yes, I will probably have some pics of the band in the header, but I still need to work on that. My basic idea is to make the forums layout, then fine-tune the graphics. So I'm still working on the layout... But thanks for the feedback.

More pictures in the header would really make a difference, especially since the banner now seems a little plain.

I'll have more images throughout the site and possibly the forums themselves. I'm still working on the overall layout though.
