I am assuming that making hacks in OOP will make it easier for add ons and for larger organized hacks created by mutiple parties.......

Not necessarily, it all depends how the application is designed. All I'm going to say is don't expect modification miracles to happen all because the core of vB has switched to OOP. (No I haven't seen the source)

Well to be honest the way everything works now is sort of like OOP. I noticed that before but never brought it up.
