Perhaps the concept is directed/designed for non-profit organizations, or possibly a church group. I'm certain the programmer(s) can provide a simple "intended use" disclaimer within the release requirements.

hruh? We do them all the time at christmas parties for gifts certificates etc.

Online? Yeah for non-profit they are legal, But if you live in the united states you cannot hold an online raffle drawing, you may participate but you may not actually hold one. It violates U.S. Anti-Lottery Laws. You can look them up if you would like.

I am looking forward to doing some user testing on this once trafix has released the beta version. This is a paid coding request and trafix has kindly offered to develop for our site www.funkysmart.co.uk.

As so many wanted to see this one up and running I'm sure we can work something out regarding general release.
