I placed favicon.ico in the follow dir:
/favicon.ico /public_html/favicon.ico /public_html/vb/favicon.ico /public_html/vb/admincp/favicon.ico /vb being my forum dir. Still only works on the links I add only? Not the threads or index.php |

If the original code that was provided earlier in this thread doesn't work try this. It's crude, but it should work. PHP Code:
Place that code in your headerincludes template. If that doesn't work let me know and I will give mine yet another look to make sure I didn't stash the code in any other templates as well. |

Do you have another browser like Foxfire by Mozilla that you could look at it in. If not, drop me a link and I can look from Foxfire to see if it is showing there.
EDIT: I looked at the one that you have listed as your home page. It is showing in the forum, bt not on your portal page. Try added the code to the portal template. As I have never run the portal, I don't know what template that would be. |

I think IE strips whatever info is needed to display it.

Yours is showing in Foxfire.
![]() My guess is that mholtum is correct, that IE just doesn't deal with them. Like I said the only thing I see missing is it isn't showing in your portal, but my guess is you would have to edit a protal tempate for it to show in that case. |
