The way that I'm coding it is pretty easy (thanks to the way that Zack set up the actions in the first place). It will just be a new action that you drop into the uttstore folder and one new template. It will work for my purposes and maybe fill a need while we wait for another solution. Like I said, I wrote this same type of hack for Lesane's store. This one is actually a lot easier for me because this store is set up in modules, which is way cool .
I'll have my version done tomorrow.... |

Okay, the hack is posted HERE. For some reason, it's not showing up in the new hacks list on the home page. I must have done something wrong.... any ideas?
Enjoy the hack and let me know if it needs anything. |

Ahh -- fair enough. Hey, thanks again for the great store and making it easy to work on. Excellent job!

From taking a glance at the hack, i see that it's like a real shopping cart in any ecommerce software. However, wat i was looking for is the ability to physically display the items bought somewhere in the postbit or something. For instance, if i were to put a Dell Laptop on sale, then someone bought it, cost $1000, their points would be deducted $1000 but there would be an image of the Dell Laptop in the postbit or above the signature section with a note "Items possessed" or something.
Is this included in the hack ChurchMedia? |
