Actually I believe you will find it is very compatible, it just doesnt fix garbage. *shrug*

Yeah, that's true.

IE will show up anything, the worse HTML code you can throw at it.

When I did use it, it was bad. But I've heard it's gotten better.

They certainly do suck IMO

but many people use them so its sensible if we fit our designs to them by using solely CSS or XHTML
