My second hack today, as requested by leon2u here.

This hack will put a forumjump on forumhome..

open up index.php and find this code:

eval("dooutput(\"".gettemplate('forumhome')."\");"); 
And directly above it add:
PHP Code:
eval("\$forumjump = \"".gettemplate("forumjump")."\";"); 
Than open up the forumhome template located in admincp
and put $forumjump whevere you want your forumjump to be displayed..

ok, this Hack is now in working position.. so you can all install it! I fixed the coding, works perfect.

It doesn't show any of the forums. Why would you want it on the forumhome? :ermm:

why would you need forum jump on index? maybe for subforums?

I want to give my users the possibility to see all subforums in the jump menu on the homepage...this is much easier navigating.

Another possibility is to change to color of the main forum on the forum and subforum overview page. See my attachment...

But it would be great to have a forumjump...for the forumjump such as it is now you do not need the code you can place $forumjump anywhere on your homepage and it will let you show the same.

Can nobody create me this hack???

Sorry, but you are wrong on this. If you do not use the code that Webmasta XT supplied for the index.php, then putting forumjump in the forumhome template will do nothing and show nothing. Test it out.
