If your serious about your site and message board, you should be willing to pay $160 for a script as good as vBulletin. And I personally think it is worth every penny.

did you know that some companies charge $800 for their software?
VB is extremly cheap for a professional piece of software. if you think some "free" boards are better, think again. dont get fooled by the nice graphs.. is a known issue most of free boards got inspired from vB, who truly pioneered the bulletin boards concept of interactivity and reliability.
great tech support also. period.

i only bought a leased license and when renewal times comes... expect another licenese... great deal... learned alot thats all that needs to be said...
