With all of these, with any of them can u set how many points u get per post - based on the forum you are posting in?

Like if you have a Support section - u get 5 points for posting a reply, but in the um, tutorials section - u get 30 points for making a post - but they are both under the same catergory...?

basically i need a forum specific points system that will let me decide how many points pending on which forum u post in, and of course is automated....

Also - is it possible on those hacks that if you post in say "tech support" you will lose points?

You can do this.

For posting new threads, in newthread.php,

Find:

          $DB_site->query("UPDATE user SET

          $dotitle"."lastpost='".time()."' WHERE userid='$bbuserinfo[userid]'"); 


Below, ADD:

         $DB_site->query("UPDATE userfield SET
          fieldyy=fieldyy+zz WHERE userid='$bbuserinfo[userid]'");
} 


xx is the forumid
yy is the custom user id number of your points field
+zz is the amount you wish to add - you can change this to -zz

The added code above can be added again and again for different forums, adding or substracting points.

To make this work for new replies, just do the same for newreply.php - same code to find, add the same code underneath. Should work.

kew m8 i installed lesanes store hack and u can - and + points - now the only thing i need to figure out is how can u stop someon from viewing a thread if they don't have enough points to view that thread.
