it's kinda version-free.. AFAIK it will work with all versions, feel free to apply..

I don't want to start a thread for each new member, but I DO want to PM them a greeting...we've got birthdays and X posts as full release hacks, but not new registrations (as far as I can tell).



I suppose I can extrapolate the appropriate code, but since our dev site exploded yesterday, I'd prefer not to be experimenting with the live site. I guess I'll have to wait.

It all depends on the words you enter. I'm lucky alot of the time and can remember thread titles for specific words, I know its not allways easy trying to find a thread you know exists

Hi:

I was wondering if the initial hack works for vb3?

Currently, I have a sorority forum and I have added members that I "know" are a member of my sorority. I would like to be able to have a new user sign up, a post automatically made in a certain thread (or a thread automatically made - doesn't matter), so that current members can view each new user and let me know if they are OK to approve.

Any ideas? I GREATLY appreciate all you guys' help!
