How do I restore a Database with phpmyadmin?

Hi, I am moving servers, and I made a dump of my db....I want to restore it on the other server, but I don't know how to use Telnet, how do I go about doing it through phpmyadmin?

use telnet. you will be save all the time. i just dont trust phpMyAdmin. the queries that i run.. i do it with my own little script, or EMS.. not the phpMyAdmin.

phpMyAdmin is safe to use with small queries, nakkid. The problem with it is it's a Web based application, and as such it has timeout limitations. For running a simple UPDATE query it's great, but when you're dealing with thousands of records it will most likely time out in the middle and you'll be stuck with half-a-database.

err my host can't give me Telnet access

What do I do?

I uploaded the db to a site, and then in the upload from text file, I put in the URL, it did it faster, but it says no Tables Found

I would suggest going with the EMS program that Nakkid suggested. It has a 30 trial period.

Does your current host not have some sort of import feature for you?
