This is more of a visual change, but still requires hacking the files.
All it does is make the look of [code], [php] and [quote] codes better (IMO), instead of the ugly lines which are used right now.

i would also add a br html code after the table to give more space after the table, it would be more pleasant.. but that's me the perfect example is the post above. let me know firefly.

This makes quotes look great but what I'd like it to do not to have a seperate colour of it's own but be the opposite alt colour i.e. if it's in a post with firstaltcolour background then the background will be secondaltcolor

Code & php vBcode hacks do require alternation of the php files, but for signature & quote you can just apply template hack. See mah sig FireFly, very cool done, ..

Is there any way to have this hack automatically detect the background colour of the post it's in and to set the table background colour to the alternate colour as specified in the style?
