I need help with a logo for my board...I can't do anything right graphic-wise(a couple people already know this to be a fact...)

Anyway, I'm trying to create a fire theme for my board(very unsuccessful in doing so) and I need help with a logo...the current logo I have was done by Steve(AKA SMachol):



I admit, the .com part is kinda' fake, but I purchased PlatinumGamers.com, I just got screwed by the registrar...

anyway, can someone edit that to make it orange?(possibly without charging for it I'm kind of broke right now...) If so, Thanks...(also, if there is a generous person that is willing to make a wallpaper for free(I'm really doubtful) then please email me: admin@platinumgamers.fbhosting.com )

also(now I'm going to sound like a complete idiot....) how do you do the fading color type thing with the catagories(silver to white sort of thing)?
