This is almost exactly what I was looking for but I want to filter it just for Group updates. I'm starting to play with it now. Thanks for this, I think
I have it installed, is there a way for me to have the widget part only show the activity of certain areas. It looks like it's default to match Activity Stream of the site and I don't want to limit that to Groups only but I would like this widget to do just that.
hmm my avatars in the widget seem to be ignoring this width value. Save and Reload and a F5 on the page, and they don't change, I'm trying to shrink them. and actually went from 60px to 30px or atleast I'm trying
And actually seem to be ignoring that width all together and instead pulling the max width from .vbcms_content img max-width O_o
The widget is showing posts from the moderators forums which only mods and admins should see.

You've confirmed that this is for users that don't have permissions to view such things? This widget shows different content depending on whether I'm logged in or not, as one would expect it to based upon permissions.
I just want to make sure you're not jumping to conclusions, but if you're right that's no bueno

I haven't installed it on my board yet. I always read comments before I do. I'll go ahead and do the install and check all permissions and then get back to you on this.
Edit: Checked the before mentioned problem is not true. As long as permissions are set correctly you do not see hidden content from hidden forums unless you have the permission to view those forums!
