If so, and you are getting a bunch of "File does not contain expected contents", then you need to redownload a totally fresh copy of the site and reupload them ALL (keep your config.php file) and then verify they all were uploaded OK by running Suspect File Version again. And make sure all text files are uploaded in ASCII and all images in Binary (most ftp applications will do this automatically).

Well it turns out I took care of all the mismatched files and everything seems to be working ok as far as I'm aware.^ ^ dunno what amaury's answer will be though.=/

Yes, the mismatches are out of the way, but we have a lot of "File does not contain expected contents" results, which we don't want.

Question, Lynne. If Sean (Dark Lycan) installs a fresh vBulletin, will we lose our forum information (styles, threads, posts, etc.)?

If you install a fresh vbulletin installation, then you won't be using the forum database and therefore won't have any of the forum information.

So, wait, I'm confused. Isn't that what you said to do? If we do that, though, we lose our information.

I said to reupload all the default vbulletin files, not install a fresh vbulletin forum.
