Error in Uploaing the Images in VB 4.1.5

Hi to all

I've the same problems.

All the permission was ok. I (admin and mod) or the simple user call me "why don't work the upload image?"

I test now wath is write up of this post...

Can you upload avatars or profile pictures? Are you using imagemagick or gd?

try these steps:

First reupload all the original vB non-image files (except install.php). Make sure you upload these in ASCII format and overwrite the ones on the server. Also be sure to upload the admincp files to whichever directory you have set in your config.php file. Then run 'Suspect File Versions' in Diagnostics to make sure you have all the original files for your version and that none show 'File does not contain expected contents':

Admin CP -> Maintenance -> Diagnostics -> Suspect File Versions

[Note: In some cases you may also need to remove any of the listed .xml files in the includes/xml directory.]

Next, disable all Products except the vBulletin Blog and vBulletin CMS (Admin CP -> Plugins & Products -> Manage Products -> Disable) AND uncheck all the plugins except those related to the vBulletin Blog and vBulletin CMS by (Admin CP -> Plugins & Products -> Plugin Manager). You must do BOTH of those steps in order to disable all non vBulletin Modifications.

Then if you still have this problem, create a new style and choose no parent style. This will force it to use the default templates. Finally empty your browser cache, close all browser windows then try again. Make sure you change to the new style and view your forums with it.

There are few errors now in my error_log file
but i don't think they are related to this

While using the Image from URL option and with "Retrieve remote file and reference locally" as checked
the output comes as
[ATTACH=CONFIG]0[/ATTACH] ( flat , not hyperlinked)

and while uploading the image from the local computer i get the "unidentified icon" at end and pics are not getting uploaded

You should not be getting those errors if you reuploaded the default files. One of the files was either not uploaded completely or you have a modification causing the unexpect end.

It should not say "Undefined" when you hover over the !

Try fixing the other error first and see if then you actually get something other than Undefined. And you had said something different in the first post about the error - you said:

I want to see that full error.

Yes those errors were coming in starting

But just now i have re uploaded all the files as you told me
and Disabled the 1 mod i was using ( i was just using 1 mod , vb_experience) that too is disabled now
and still i am seeing the same errors.
I am about to die now , struck in many problems other than this.
