I would like to add that not all mods are marked unsupported, there are authors who support thier mods for months after they release them. Hell, the Links and Downloads manager mod author supported his actively mod until he died.. So tarring all mod authors with one brush isn't really the best way to go.

The people who do not have time to support mods, they mark them unsupported, and if you can't work out how to install it without support, don't install these mods
