You need to be in debug mode in order to view the MASTER STYLE. You could set it for just your IP:

Nice way, but isnt better to compare current use with "admin" or lookup for the current user group?

You can't do that in the config.php file. That file is read before it ever knows what your userid or any userinformation about you. It's getting the database information to make it's first database call.
