The vBulletin IM of 123 Web Messenger is designed on the basis of free hosting service of 123 Web Messenger. That means we will host the chat server for you. What you need to do is just inserting the code we provided to you into your vBulletin website. And you will get a free Facebook Messenger style Web Chat Bar at the bottom of toolbar.
It allows unlimited concurrent users! The only limition is not all functions available.
Mod version: 1.0 Work for vBulletin v4.x
Description:
The vBulletin Instant Messaging module for 123 Web Messenger is a FREE application, which can help you integrate your vBulletin Database with 123 Web Messenger to add a FREE 1-to-1 Chat Solution like Facebook Chat at the bottom of your vBulletin forum.
Features:
1) Auto-login
Successful integration guarantees Auto-login. So users logged in the vBulletin website don?t have to re-enter username or password to access 123 Web Messenger Chat.
2) Facebook Messenger Style Web Chat Bar
Facebook like instant Messaging is a form of 123 Web Messenger, which allows users the ability to chat with each other or leave offline messages in the Friend List: click the ?Friends? icon on bar to popup the Friend List. Here is the screenshot below:
3) Free Integration Service from 123 Web Messenger
123 Web Messenger supplies free installation and integration support to both license buyer and hosting service buyer.
Its free, mod and web messengers but "Note: The trial of 123 Web Messenger has all the features of the Ultimate Edition while it is totally FREE. The only limit is 10 concurrent users will be allowed."
Still an issue if say 11 users want to be on it. Use meebo, much easier and free!
Integration may be free, but the 123 Web Messenger isn't
Concurrent Users Basic Edition
50 Users---------- $19 / month, $199 / year
100 Users--------- $29 / month, $299 / year
500 Users--------- $89 / month, $899 / year
1000 Users------ $129 / month, $1299 / year
(one server)----- $199 / month, $1999 / year
Why not try the free firstly! And then thinking about the charged edition.
Except for the 10 users edition, we also offers you free web messenger hosting service.
I could say responsibly that there is not totally free chat solution in marketing. You will found the truth some day.
Its free, mod and web messengers but "Note: The trial of 123 Web Messenger has all the features of the Ultimate Edition while it is totally FREE. The only limit is 10 concurrent users will be allowed."
This Note is used to describe the free license of 123 Web Messenger. And we also offer Free 123 Web Messenger Hosting Service which allowed unlimited concurrent users.
I have just purchased the software (monthly). Its like $19/month for 50 users (bare bones package). If you try the software it is a SUPERIOR product, but yah it is pricey. I'm gonna see how it goes on my website, I'll keep you guys updated.
Edit: Oh yah this is def not free. The software is free, but if you want to use it in any capacity it is not.
I bought this chat server outright a while back. It's certainly not cheap.
It works, it runs as a linux service, and it does handle high load very well. The quality of the support for the app is spotty at best, emails from their tech support seem to never get through to me. The module pricing is pretty high. The documentation is horrendous.
Overall I won't replace it unless something much better comes along, now if I had it to do all over again...
Supramania, I haven't seen anything else better so far than this chat room though. It seems like Vbulletin is not very good with Chat software, especially if you want to have a 1 on 1 conversation?
I just purchased the 123 flash chat (not messenger), so are your thoughts pretty much that you use this software kinda as a default? ie. nothing really better at the moment?
