This thread is about vBulletin 3.x, if you have a question regarding vB 4, then please post in the appropriate forum.

If you have the 3.8 files in public_html just overwrite with vB4 files and all will be well, but in index.php find require content.php (bottom of file) and change to forum.php

If its in /forums or /forum i use an index.html redirect to the directory.
