Flu Shot !!! Have you got it ?

I got a letter from my GPs about this. They advise me that if I want a flue shot, to get the one without thiomersal.

Anyway. Im not getting it. It is clear that its a light flue and not a real worry. The main health agencies in the Netherlands have come to this conclusion. You would think that this means that there will be no more flue shots. But nothing is less true.

Problem may be that governments have bought up silos of flue shots in a time of economic crisis. I assume that throwing away vaccins worth billions of euros may cause some loss of credibility and votes.

Thiomeral is not the only nasty thing in the vaccin..

I don't know anything about what mercury does to your body or why it is needed in medicine, but i do recognize numbers being manipulated to affect public opinion.

The keyword here is "by weight".

Take 1% of lead and 99% of feathers, and the result will probably be over 50% (or more) of lead by weight.

I'd rather be sick for a week than take the flu shot... The Media shows "Oh so many people died from this", etc. but many people die from normal flu too.. The media just don't show it.

So it isn't more dangerous than normal flu, and some of my friends (Inclusive me I think (I'm not 100% sure that I had it...)) has had it, and it wasn't a big deal...
