i thoght he just wants to recover his posts , so the posters who had posted in his forum was already there so it won't worry
and by the way are you using other databases of other sites and merging with one another don't know it will be of any help to you @Marco , sorry about that , appolize , i thought on the other way round |

Tell the users that the threads and posts are gone, its not worth the effort to recover them, that will be a lot of work.
Its NOT a simple task, if you never used impex before, then you simply dont understand how it works. You CAN'T just run posts/threads. |

Like snakes1100 replied. Unless you have lost thousands of posts, trying to merge a few posts back into your current database is a timeconsuming and expert task and really not worth it for "just 2 hours of postings".
If there have been 1 or important posts missing, then it is best to manually find them in the backup, copy the text and repost. |
