Anyway - $200 in 3 years seems absolutely crazy LOL - You should look into boosting your traffic - maybe via a SE & directory submissions campaign to build your PR and unique traffic -- Also try optimizing your adsense placement for high-target spots.

Yea I know lol, but it's been fun though, I did learn alot in these 3 years about sites and seo, ads etc.. I just couldnt apply it to my sites yet. 145 to 200 a month in adsense only is neat, I would be ok with that. And yea something else I never did is to optimize the site for adsense, placements and all that. I also tried many shortcuts that made me forget about the basics and now I see the results. Thanx for the advice

Yea, content and how interesting the site is will be the key. I guess I got too much into design and code than to actually make a profit out of it and now is kinda frustrating, I feel like is too late to start SEO and ads and all that so at least I tried Now im 100% into my music career and there I saw results the first day I went public
I'll still try to keep at least 1 site just for the fun of it

I have a client who claims to make $60k a month via affiliate marketing on a few of his blogs. So that's about $2k a day?

As for me, never really got into advertising too much. I just get paid to develop the websites, then I let other people get rich off 'em. Heh. Maybe I should switch that technique around pretty soon though eh?

my best days would be around 20 a day
but just like Gio above, I know some clients that make CRAZY money and it's from affiliate marketing as well, but with those programs you have to ask how much they spend as well. Most of the affiliate marketers use CPC to build traffic to their products.

You said it Brandon. I also know quite a few that spend a crazy amount marketing themselves. It takes a lot to get to where some of these people are. In the end, it all comes down to a strong team.

Most major websites that I've worked with have a series of developers (all for different purposes), a webmaster, a marketing guy, a project manager, an investor, a set of brains, and sometimes even a couple thousand hamsters running their wheels.

Then again I have this one guy, who as far as I know (other than a site he did with his brother) comes up with all of the ideas himself and just has me work on development. But his dedication alone overpowers that of most teams. He's the type that's easily inspired, continuously motivated, and always hard working and optimistic. Easier said than done huh?
