Wave will be a hard sell for corporations. However, I see this really taking off at the college level for real time collaboration. Especially for those that are taking "distance learning" courses.

I had this same question. I am about to start a forum and know i will need to invest a lot of time and some money into it. But now that i'm hearing more and more about Wave's capabilities. It sounds like it may trump forums as we know them today. It sounds like forums on steroids. Click and embed pictures, videos, maps, charts, collaboration tools etc. It even has a built in translating device, etc. The best part, IMO, is that you can reply directly to parts of the original conversation. You no longer have to quote parts of others, like in vB (which now seems a bit archaic). What do others think? I'm nervous to get too invested into a vB, if GWave might be a better alternative in a few months... PLUS it's free.
