can anyone convert a word 2007 doc to a standard word 2003 doc for me??

DOCX to DOC, right?

You don't need any converter for that.
Main menu -> Save As -> Word 97-2003 Document

You only need extra converters for DOC to DOCX.

That would only work if you have Office 2007 installed.

In my old job i always used MS Office. But now that i must pay myself for the software, i also switched to OpenOffice, never had a problem with it.

And i've hit a mega problem, I need to edit some employment contracts for work, but I use office 2007 at work and at home i only have office 2003

He has a document created at his work with Office 2007, that he needs to edit with his Office 2003 at home.

http://www.zamzar.com/ - I've used site once or twice to convert (small) files. I would've been able to open them on my desktop, but I try to keep all the crap off my notebook.

Thanks marco, Sorry if i didn't explain clearly enough. managed to download open office and i must say i'm well chuffed, Thanks to my old mate nexialys, Who is now helping people for free!!

Tried that and it just froze my pc, didn't want to read the file at all
