yeah, but we all are adults or most of us, and to be honest life is hard for most of the people, and Obama is so eager to please everybody that soon reality will slap him on his face, we are too complicated as society... as a world...

p.s. Obama got pixie dust on his head

I don't believe being an adult means you can't have aspirational goals. As a country we used to always think that way, until we let the hardest of times tread on our optimism. Being positive is not delusion. Only the positive survive.

Nasa are selling off x2 space shuttles, you can go a long way on a full tank of fuel and a cargo bay to hold say... quite a few people.
Paying taxes and the Space Shuttles have nothing to do with closing the POW facility at Guantanamo Bay. The UK has plenty of taxes just like the US, but we're not talking about that are we.

I'm not sure, are we? Should Guantanamo Bay be closed? maybe, maybe not. Where is the money coming from that's housing the prisoners? Tax Payers?

What will happen to them? Re-allocated? maybe, to the moon? possibly... How? I recommend using the space shuttle, why? nasa are selling them aren't they? without the engines... we have a problem, solution? where will they be moved to now? Recommendations? evolution of chat without the need of restrictions of a yes or no answer/response.

Figure out what to do with the murderers there who want us all dead first. I agree that some of the stuff we did there shouldn't have happened, but I also don't want terrorists brought onto American soil.

Some of the people are only there because of their religion or where they where originally from...

It's funny (not really) ....everyone in every country wants something done with the people there just not on their soil...everyone agreed to it but no one wants to help clean it up.

Are you serious?
Man can't stay out too long, their muscles and bones become weak and even a simple sucker punch can kill them.

Absolutely. Why not? We are surrounded by people who only know one thing. To harm other humans, kill even. They are bred from a young age to hate the west blah de blah and cannot make the transition into civilized society. okay, so they might suffer from bone loss. I'm not sure what the % are per month in low gravity but we are evolving all the time and with that comes new technology with new innovative ideas. Bring apple in the idea and you have a win/win situation were it need not be a situation but rather a solution to a problem that 50% of people will agree with whilst 50% will disagree.

Look at this way, with muscle and bone deteriorating there's not much to harm apart from looking at our blue planet. Skylab could be an alternative, haven't kept track of story of this module from the 60s or whether the module is still orbiting above us but that's another solution right there.

Pow facilities on the moon in my books would be a step forward. whether we like it or not we can't change people, they are what they are.

You are presuming, of course, that every single prisoner there is what you say they are. We've yet to determine that in any legal sense.

That's kind of a disturbing thing to hear (read) someone say, when this is essentially what white men said of blacks for centuries. I'd hoped we had learned our lesson from history.
